This is a Scrub Scout | Orthopaedic role with Adventist HealthCare Limited (Aus) based in Sydney, NSW, AU Adventist HealthCare Limited (Aus) Role Seniority - mid level More about the Scrub Scout | Orthopaedic role at Adventist HealthCare Limited (Aus) What you’ll be doing in this role: You will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of orthopaedic subspecialties including; joint replacement and revision surgery (hip, knee, shoulder), complex spine procedures. Reporting to the Operating Suite Nurse Unit Manager, you will be supported to thrive in a collaborative, inclusive, and highly skilled perioperative environment. Our large perioperative service supports 19 modern operating theatres, offering exposure to a varied and rewarding caseload while maintaining a strong focus on patient-centred, best-practice care. What we are looking for: Current AHPRA registration with 2-3 years’ experience as a scrub/scout Nurse Demonstrated experience within the Orthopaedic surgeries - Sound knowledge of orthopaedic instrumentation, implants, and prostheses Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and maintain a sterile field throughout procedures Flexibility to work across a range of shifts including morning and evenings Effective coordination of theatre workflow and case preparation The ability to use your initiative and critical problem-solving skills Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal How To Apply If you see yourself in this role, then we’d love to hear from you.
